Eegad, laziness!

So I didn't go to the tattoo place. Again.

I honestly planned to, I got in the bath, decided I was going to take a slow walk up as it wasn't raining...

Then Graham rang me - he got out of work early. So we went to Teesside and I bought a book (The Master and Magarita by Mikhail Bulgakov) and we had yummy food and lots of hugs and stuff.

I'm probably at work tomorrow - Debra and Andrea were called in, and sent home after an hour, but I wasn't home, so I couldn't answer the phone, oh dear...

New job soon, hopefully :)

Setback..

Ok, so the tattoo place was shut today. I did ask my boyfriend to drive past on his way to work yesterday to check the opening times, and I reminded him twice. And he assured me he would. And he didn't.

You're a useless git, Graham.

It's open on Monday, and I'm off work then, so I'll take a walk down (providing it's not lashing it down again...)

On the plus side, my hair is short again! :)

It starts!

Hi there.

So basically, I have a tattoo on my neck. This one:
And I want it gone.

I'll not bore you with details of why, but I will let you tut and roll your eyes. My parents both did. When I first got it, they both insisted that I'd tire of it, and want rid of it, and I insisted that I wouldn't, and all that.

It looks like they were right, the gits.

But anyway, I was never really keen on the idea of getting it removed with a laser (it seemed a bit too sci-fi for my liking...) so I never really thought about getting it removed much.

The tattoo itself is of three bear paw-prints, which I drew myself on a scrap of paper, and had done when I was 17 (which in itself is stupid, the legal age is 18) at a tattooist that I would no longer recommend, after having been to better studios since (The Steel Paintbrush in Durham, namely: go there for your tattooing and piercing needs, if you're a Northerner.) Like I say, when I got them, I thought I'd want them forever, but things change.

So anyhoobs, I saw this article on the Daily Mail website a week or two back, and it intrigued me. So I got to work looking about and reading up on this Rejuvi stuff, and asking people if they'd heard of it.

And I actually found out that a studio in Peterlee, my home town (not the one I got the tattoo at) offers Rejuvi (or at least, the E-raze website lists them as clients) as well as a few other places in the North.

So, tomorrow I'm going to take a wander to Peterlee Bodyart, ask a few questions, and possibly get a quote. If they don't offer it, I'll go to other studios in the North-East and ask. It won't be cheap, but then I deserve to pay through the nose for being such an idiot when I was 17.

Sorry for this boring introduction, hopefully there'll be some pictures up to chronicle this little adventure (yes, I said adventure; no I have no life.)

And hopefully, if my tattoo removal is a success, other people will be able to follow my lead, and get their unwanted tattoos - be they badly done portraits, ex-girlfriends' names or just crap fads that were done on a whim - removed without having to be zapped by lasers.

:)
